Bringing together breeders, Butchers and distributors, the Country Beef sector – 100% meat breed confirmed its ambition for 2026 by renewing the Country Beef Charter on May 10.
Signed as part of the “Charte Bœuf Pays” weekend organized by the Sica Revia cooperative, the 2026 Charter promotes the women and men who keep the sector alive, from breeding to plate. It plays a structuring role for the local sector. Since its creation more than 15 years ago, she helped satisfy customers, the breeders, and the butchers. Reworked each year by all interprofessional stakeholders, it reflects the shared desire to build the future of the sector by constantly reinventing itself to meet the expectations of today’s consumers. Great innovation of this edition : the “Boeuf Pays Ambassador” label, based on a clear commitment charter accessible to the consumer. This label distinguishes those who are committed to “producing, identify and promote Country Beef meat – 100% meat breed of local origin”, to “guide and advise consumers with passion and transparency”, to “foster a direct link between breeders and consumers”, finally to “transmit their experience, their know-how and the values of their profession”.
A sustainable collective dynamic
With the Boeuf Pays 2026 Charter and the launch of “Bœuf Pays Ambassador”, the sector reaffirms its collective dynamic. For Olivier Robert, president of Sica Revia, “These fundamental values carry the sector on a daily basis and encourage us all to meet regularly and proudly wear the colors of Bœuf Pays. The now recognized quality of Bœuf Pays meat is the fruit of everyone’s work.”.
