It takes a new step in the modernization of its logistics with the deployment of two Scallog robotic installations on its platforms dedicated to DIY and home equipment.

The French company Scallog manufactures logistics solutions based on robots transporting shelves to operators, reducing for these last trips, preparation time and arduousness of operations. This project supports the growth of the Ravate group’s store and e-commerce activities, which operates 60 points of sale.. It improves the quality of its service and strengthens its competitiveness in an island context where control of logistics flows constitutes a strategic issue.. Every year, nearly 700,000 order lines have already been prepared to supply points of sale and respond to online orders. Ravate Distribution, importer subsidiary and logistics operator, has initiated a vast program to transform its logistics with the aim of digitalizing flow management, to automate the preparation of retail orders and build an organization capable of sustainably supporting the group’s development.

The first results are there
The two Scallog robotic installations are deployed on the logistics platforms operated by the Ravate group partners ID Logistics and COR Logistique. Dedicated to DIY activities, the first installation equips the platform operated by ID Logistics. The second, dedicated to home equipment, was deployed on the COR Logistique site. In a few weeks, order preparation productivity has already doubled, while storage organization gains in density and precision. The operators, as far as they are concerned, benefit from better working conditions.
