Lichens, green deposits and red algae degrade the aesthetics of facades, roofs and exterior floors and can also alter them. In order to eliminate them and delay their return, the cleaning products company is enriching its “Green Deposit Destroyer” range with two ready-to-use formulas : a standard, and a reinforced premium.
These solutions allow both preventive and curative treatment, effective and long lasting. Without bleach, they do not damage surfaces. The premium formula, more concentrated in active ingredients, is an “all in one” product, with visible effect within 24 hours of application. It retains its properties even in the event of rain and helps to reduce ghost marks visible after treatment. Depending on the degree of contamination, one liter can treat up to 10 m2. These products are used without rinsing and are easy to use.. They are suitable for many water-resistant vertical and horizontal supports : coatings, tiles, slate, shingle, pierre, brick, concrete, mortar, cement, fiber cement, marble, plaster, earthenware, plastic, polyester, zinc, and solar panels (on painted supports, a preliminary test is recommended). They do not compromise the operation of water collectors or solar panels.
Techniques d’application
The product is applied by roller or by watering only in dry weather, at a temperature between 5 and 25 degrees on a moisture-free surface. In order to facilitate action, thick deposits have been previously removed by scraping For small areas less than 10 m2, the 1 liter sprayer is particularly suitable. Wait for the product to act until the deposits darken, then brush to remove them or let the rain and wind do their thing. A recovery (paint or coating) is possible after application.
Blue cans that are easy to spot
Starwax has opted for bleach-free formulas in order to limit attacks, to avoid localized discoloration and preserve the integrity of the materials while guaranteeing prolonged wear over time. To spot them well, the products in the “Green Deposit Destroyer” range are packaged in blue cans except the 1 l sprayer, who is white.
