The French market leader in plant-based meat substitutes is tackling one of the most popular symbols of breaded chicken. The brand launches the first 100% plant-based products on the market. A response to booming demand, especially among young consumers.

For five years, demand for breaded products jumped 54%. Tenders are now in second place in delivery orders, while fried chicken restaurants are multiplying all over France. In this context, HappyVore, the specialist in plant-based alternatives to meat, offers a version of this snacking essential, designed to speak to consumers who are still skeptical as well as to plant-based regulars. HappyVore tenders arrive in April in the fresh and frozen sections of major retail chains, a format 180 g (x 6). In out-of-home catering, the innovation will be available in frozen formats of 1 and 3 kilos in cash and carry and other recognized brands, like Mister Garden or La Brigade. The development of these tenders required several years of research and development and creation with consumers, with several waves of tests to adjust the recipe until we find the precise experience loved by consumers : the crispness of the breading which gives way, tender heart, the comforting and gourmet side that calls for sauce and fries.

Tenders classified Nutri-Score A
Tested in November 2025 with a group of independent consumers, HappyVore tenders recorded 93% purchase intention after tasting, confirming their strong adoption potential. “With family or friends, tenders represent the snacking reflex of a generation. By reinventing them as 100% plant-based and with a Nutri-Score A, we enable consumers to maintain their habits with a more positive impact. This is where the food transition must take place : on everyday uses”, says Guillaume Dubois, founder of HappyVore. This innovation has just won the special jury prize for Snacking d’Or 2026, the Snack Show’s benchmark competition for innovation (Paris expo, April 1 and 2).
