Crédit Agricole La Réunion-Mayotte strengthens its commitment to local development with the first edition of a local competition dedicated to the talents of our territories.
With this initiative, the Regional Bank reconnects with its desire to honor excellence, the authenticity and dedication of the professions which characterize Reunionese and Mahorese gastronomy. More than a competition, Terres de Saveurs “promotes the know-how of professionals while highlighting the qualities of our farmers, of our artisans and all the food professions in Reunion and Mayotte”, underlines the president of the Crédit Agricole regional bank, Pascal Quineau. The event is indeed intended to be a real professional springboard. The finalists will benefit from a communication device (presse, social networks, etc.), as well as a connection with a jury made up of renowned professionals and economic partners who will give them the opportunity to increase their notoriety. More than €15,000 in prizes will be shared between the winners and finalists, to help them finance or develop their activity.
A final at Lux Saint Gilles
To allow all enthusiasts to express themselves and represent the full diversity of professions linked to gastronomy and agriculture, five categories are offered : Farmers ; Artisans – Sweet delights ; Artisans – Savory delicacies ; Artisans-Drink specialty ; Cooks. Opened in June 2025, the registration period for candidates ended on January 31, 2026. The selection of finalists and public voting took place from March 16 to April 6. The final will take place in May. The finalists will have the opportunity to present their creations in real conditions within Lux Saint-Gilles in front of a jury made up of Reunion chefs., from a food critic, and representatives of the Regional Fund.
