Reunion products collected no less than 26 medals during the general competition organized on the occasion of the International Agricultural Show, early March in Paris. Seven producers won gold : jam makers ABCD, Charles Nagou, Little House, honey producers Bruno Ariapoutri and Miel de Bourbon, the liquorists Mamzel and Réuni-Rhum. The Vanilleraie de Sainte-Suzanne collects a silver medal for its pods. The Reunionese jam makers also brought home eight silver and bronze medals, just like the liquorists and Miel de Bourbon obtain a bronze medal. Agriculture and fishing interprofessional associations, as well as the Adir, were present at the Show to convey the messages of local production gathered. Grouped together under their new banner La Réunion des Rhums, rum makers and industrial liquor makers also held a joint stand, whose quality has been noted. He has, indeed, won the Syrpa competition, the association of communicators from the agricultural and agri-food world, in the Identity and Territory category.
