At the start of the year, a prefectural decree awarded Saint-Denis the designation of “tourist town” for a period of five years.
To obtain this label, a city must meet various criteria, starting with the accommodation and catering offer. As it happens, 13,500 tourist beds have been identified in the capital, as well as 182 restaurants and similar establishments.
