France Travail annual meeting, Digital Careers Week will be held from September 21 to 26. Like every year on the program for Digital Careers Week : career discovery workshops, training, company visits, thematic conferences, throughout France. On the island, all France Travail agencies will be mobilized to promote the strong hiring potential of this sector of the future par excellence, and also to argue that digital skills are now essential to the exercise of almost all professions, manual and intellectual. A new step will be taken with the upcoming arrival of the new artificial intelligence job search tool : Match FT. It places France Travail at the forefront of innovation.
Match FT, a conversational AI
Based on keywords entered by the France Travail advisor, Match FT will first select profiles that may correspond to a job offer, then call the people concerned : she will inform them of the offer and answer their questions. All this automatically. The results of the exchanges will be sent to the advisor who will then take control. The tool is currently being tested in France. France Travail La Réunion has applied for its commissioning in the territory from the first half of 2027. Where pre-selection requires several days, It will take Match FT a maximum of 48 hours to present reliable profiles ! A considerable saving of time and efficiency for both the advisor, the job seeker and the recruiter.
Innov’ Ultramarin Challenge : a Reunion Islander in the spotlight
Leading a project to recycle plastic waste in the form of construction materials and urban furniture (Kaïna), Vanessa Coutin-Cospin received the AI Innovation Pioneer prize from this competition initiated by France Travail.
Supported by major partners, the Innov’Ultramarin Challenge awarded five overseas start-ups (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Reunion and Mayotte) using artificial intelligence for innovation and employment. At the heart of the Kaïna project, AI will optimize the quality sorting of polymers and manage the traceability of materials. The project also includes an important integration component. In its production factory, Kaïna plans to recruit people far from employment as a priority. The trophy presentation took place on June 17 at the VivaTech show..
