To adopt simple actions to sustainably reduce their waste production, 60 households in the Western Territory will be supported from October 2026 to March 2027.
The intercommunality renews its “zero waste challenge”, launched last year to encourage individuals to change their habits and reduce waste production at source.
At the end of the first edition, the 27 participating households had reduced their residual household waste, reaching an average of 90 kilos per inhabitant per year, compared to 260 kilos throughout the country. Candidates for the second edition have until mid-September to declare themselves.
