After testing its formula in 2024, the Les Nuits ZED festival is back from October 26 to November 9 on a larger scale : 16 concerts, 18 artistes, 8 programming locations. Companies wishing to participate in the emergence of a festival with a high level of artistic standards, opening Reunion Island to the world, now know who to contact.
Golden Nights Partner (10 000 €) and partner Nuits d’Argent (5 000 €) are the two offers intended for companies interested in benefiting and allowing their own employees or partners to benefit from the high quality programming of the festival. Any help is welcome, informs the ZED association. Several companies already support Les Nuits ZED, either financially, either in kind. We can even speak of a real mobilization. Starting with that of the broadcasting rooms which immediately understood that something new and exciting was being carried by this association. ZED (expression and diffusion zone) was born in 2019. The missions it has set for itself merge in this “multidisciplinary” and “human-sized” festival., which will offer each of its editions the discovery of a “musical color”, reflection of a culture and heritage, by bringing together artists from Reunion and elsewhere.
A trip to Spain
Make way for Spain and flamenco this year. The program includes an evening aimed specifically at partners, where the jazz pianist with a romantic touch WWilliam Mendelbaum has carte blanche to design an Arab-Andalusian jazz journey. On the festival program, the fourth Arsis, instrumental training from Reunion Island, will explore the Spanish repertoire. Contemporary flamenca dancer Ana Pérez will perform accompanied by virtuoso guitarist José Sanchez. live flamingo, the company of Luis of the Carrasca, will bring flamenco to life through three generations. Louis Winsberg is one of the guitarists who are renewing French jazz with his flamenco jazz. Finally, two groups are currently paving the way for a new mixed Reunion music, they will be there : Semé and sumac seeds.
