The very first measure of territorial continuity decided within the framework of the Interministerial Committee for Overseas Territories (Image) of July 2023 came into force at the end of November : an additional return trip covered for students and trainees during the southern summer holidays.
The “Passport for study mobility” already allows young people to benefit from a round trip as part of their studies or internships per year. Coverage of an additional trip by Ladom, the Overseas Agency for Mobility, allowed students to reunite with their families or do an internship during vacations. Ladom will see its missions reinforced in 2024, and its wider beneficiary audience, a certain number of measures decided during the Overseas Interministerial Committee concerning territorial continuity.
