What agriculture for tomorrow ?

The Department launched a survey at the beginning of May to better understand the eating habits of Reunion consumers., their expectations, their perception of local products as well as the levers likely to strengthen the place of local on plates.

Consumers are invited to complete an online questionnaire, accessible from the community website. The contributions collected will update AgriPéi (the departmental agricultural framework document). This participatory approach is part of the continuity of evaluation work. Last April 28, a steering committee met in the presence of around thirty institutional partners, professionals and associations from the agricultural world. A design office commissioned by the Department presented an assessment showing many positive developments over the past decade, and this in several areas : control of land, diversification of production, structuring of sectors, epidemiological surveillance…
