Global actor in training in management of wines and spirits, la School of Wine & Spirits Business (SWSB) launches a brand new program : le MSc in Sustainable Wine Tourism & Gastronomy.
The SWSB is expanding its portfolio of programs to two sectors – wine tourism and gastronomy – where companies are showing a strong demand for managers capable of supporting them in their transition to sustainable development. This new program, innovative and at the heart of the issues of our time, is unique in the world. With its expertise in wine tourism, the SWSB can also rely on two powerful sectors at the heart of French culture and even more so Burgundy : gastronomy – with the presence of the Cité des Vins et de la Gastronomie de Dijon and the Cité des Climats et des Vins de Bourgogne in Chablis, Beaune and Mâcon – and the world of wines and spirits – with the Climats de Bourgogne and the future installation of the OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine) in Dijon. Today wine tourism is considered a real creation of value, not just for the vineyards but for an entire regional economy, rural and local. Gastronomy is an integral part of a destination’s offering. The outlook in these areas is very positive., while many wine estates, restaurateurs and accommodation providers are increasingly adopting a CSR strategy, environmentally friendly, of their employees and society.
A real demand from players in the sector
