Seeds is a support program and coworking space for innovative companies. Launched since 2016, he supported more than 100 innovative project leaders in Reunion.

Seeds is an incubator located in Sainte-Marie where project leaders meet to launch their activities. It is made up of several offices occupied by companies already having a long-term activity and a coworking space for start-ups currently being launched.. Seeds offers a complete support program for innovative project leaders. “We help entrepreneurs at all stages of development, from the project to the idea stage, to the already established company wishing to find new growth drivers” testifies Rémi Voluer, founding president of Seeds. “Do everything possible to facilitate the journey of project leaders” : this is the incubator approach. Seeds offers a free coworking space to project leaders and directs them to structures able to help them, according to the typology and temporality of their project. The support extends to the identification and negotiation with future financiers.

Operational support
The Seeds teams work between 10 and 20 hours each month on each incubatee’s projects in the form of workshops. : on validating the idea, the design of the business plan, the financing plan, customer acquisition strategy, drafting legal formalities or setting up industrial partnerships. Over the past five years, Seeds was able to count 2,500 people having carried out an innovative project in the region. Only 10% of these projects were able to access the resources necessary to test their idea, and only 2% actually launched into the market. Based on this observation, the incubator will increase its support, expand its partner pool, and wishes to create the equivalent of a station F (start-up campus located in Paris) Reunion Island in order to promote the growth of start-ups in Reunion.

Five years of activity
Seeds displays a 2017-2021 report of 520 projects monitored, 112 pre-incubation, 51 incubations, 16 long-term support, 48 companies created, 19 million euros raised, 200 jobs created. Seeds has thus supported projects as diverse as My Lovely Planet (innovative video capture and broadcast solutions), Lysine (coworking spaces), HUB2 (payment infrastructure in West Africa), ITAC (collaborative social and solidarity economy platform), Crazy Bel (beekeeping business model), Robin of the Air (automation of claims processing in the airline industry), as well as the Achatpro.re e-commerce sites (local purchasing by communities and private companies) et Amazot.re (marketplace grand public)…
