The Rivière du Mât distillery once again demonstrated its know-how by winning four medals with the prestigious agricultural general competition 2025.

Loyalty to a heritage
The historic Reunion house has already won multiple awards in the past. Created in 1886, Rivière du Mât is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island still in operation today.. True to this heritage, the distillation master perpetuates this ancestral know-how with always the same high standards. Rivière du Mât rums have thus preserved their reputation throughout the centuries. Among the last major competitions that put old Rivière du Mât rums in the spotlight, we can cite in particular Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the benchmark international meeting which distinguishes spirit drinks from the four corners of the globe. In September 2024, Cuvée 1886 was awarded a gold medal and VSO Grande Réserve and XO, each with a silver medal.
