The quest for a healthy and risk -free formulation for the health of the living, coming from the United States, la Clean Beauty, is an established trend both in food and cosmetics. Planting our plates is becoming an issue as France aims to become the leader in plant-based protein in human food.
Today, 44% of French people consider Clean Beauty a reality and already consume it. The clean movement is the basis of these new minimalisms, with increasingly reduced ingredient lists, synonymous with less processed products and therefore better for health. New performances of “without” make healthy a surprise : spirits without sugar or alcohol, skincare serums with only four ingredients, vegan and gluten-free dark chocolate pucks filled with hazelnuts with just two ingredients, etc.

Less meat, more plants
Diets limiting meat are more popular than ever : one in two French people want to reduce their meat consumption in 2022. An ever stronger dietary transition since 17% of vegetarians indicate they are interested in veganism, while only 14% of French people say they “like products of animal origin too much to consider doing without them” (IFOP and Just Eat study September 2021). The vegan wave seems irreversible… Especially since it surprises more than it repels, that it inspires more than it prohibits. Indeed, vegan gastronomy becomes a field of culinary creativity. In terms of plants, whether they are new discoveries, previously unthinkable combinations or reinterpretations of the great gastronomic classics, ecological motivation and taste desire meet.
