After the election of Laurent Lecoq to his presidency, UNICEM La Réunion continued to renew its governing bodies. Jean-Christophe two, director of the SCPR company, was elected president of the BPE college on December 3 (ready-mixed concrete), where he succeeded Matthieu Degioannini, appointed director of Préfabéton in November.
Between continuity and new challenges, Jean-Christophe Deux set the priorities of the BPE college at Unicem La Réunion. Health and safety : encourage exchanges on feedback related to accidents and near-accidents and on the corrective measures implemented. Continue to run the BPE good practices charter. Share and promote the profession’s efforts in terms of security. Environment and quality : address the issue of managing production waste and concrete returns within our production units. Encourage the reuse of concrete sludge and promote the production of ready-mixed concrete incorporating recycled aggregates. Ensure the monitoring and development of the REP sector. Adapt and configure the BETie application of the National Union of Ready-Mixed Concrete to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions propagated per cubic meter of ready-mixed concrete produced in Reunion Island.
