Born in 2013 in Cambaie, the Fly’R company takes off, after many years of development of its rhomboid wing drone model.

This complex shape, diamond, had been imagined at the end of the 19th century but no aircraft manufacturer had succeeded in implementing it. The two founders of Fly’R, Rémi Albert and François Varigas achieved it, by applying the technique to long-range drones which ended up interest the military world. Fly’R was notably selected in June 2025 by the Directorate General of Armaments, as part of a call for projects. Recently, the MDBA company, leading European missile manufacturer, selected one of its models to develop a kamikaze drone. While maintaining its Research base & Development in Cambaie, from which it develops its prototypes, Fly’R has moved closer to its partners. She has just moved to Haillan, near Bordeaux, to develop its industrial pilots.
