At Domaine Château Sainte Marguerite, The 2024 harvest took place in favorable weather conditions. Spring rains have fed the vineyard, allowing it to withstand the heat of summer with less water stress than in previous years, followed by a dry season with hot days and cool nights, giving the 2024 vintage a refined organoleptic profile revealing rosés of intensity underlined by exceptional finesse. Olivier and Enzo Fayard, brothers and duo of winemakers at the origin of Château Sainte Marguerite, carefully monitored the ideal time to start the harvest, as soon as the grapes have reached optimal maturity. The result is a harmonious balance between a well-defined fruit, lively acidity and marked minerality. Respecting the know-how of the field, the harvest took place at night, to enjoy the cool temperatures.

A castle wine

The harvest from the new plots acquired at the start of the year by Château Sainte Marguerite now ensures complete control of the vineyard., as well as total traceability from grape to bottle. The acquisition also allows the estate of more than 450 hectares of classified growth to regain its original name, that of “Château Sainte Marguerite”, in place of the “Sainte Marguerite en Provence” estate. The second change concerns the Symphonie vintage, which until 2023 included a proportion of grapes from trading, carefully selected by the Fayard family. The 2024 vintage of Symphonie, certified organic and vegan, is now a château wine. This classified growth from Provence, made 100% with grapes from the Château Sainte Marguerite vineyard, is presented for the occasion in a new bottle decorated with a daisy, the emblem of the house.

Three expressions in the spotlight
