The Union of Tour Operating Companies (Seto) signed a charter with Air Austral on March 10, as part of its merger with the airlines.
Doing so, Seto wishes to strengthen cooperation between tour operators and carriers in several areas : management of crisis situations ; after-sales treatment ; communication and exchange of experiences on the major challenges of the tourism sector, including the reduction of carbon emissions from tourism-related activities. The first charter was concluded in 2004 with Air France, that signed in 2024 with Transavia was the first with a low cost airline.
