Transporting goods to Reunion too often remains a headache. Whether it's a fridge, of materials, a professional package or regular deliveries, the same difficulties persist : repeated calls, lack of visibility, fragmented exchanges, paper documents difficult to follow. Result : wasted time and poorly exploited opportunities. It is from this reality on the ground that Miliv was born, a digital platform (web et application mobile) designed to streamline the connection between customers and carriers, while modernizing the management of goods transport on an island scale. After several years of development and work alongside transport stakeholders, Miliv was launched on January 28, 2026.
A platform, two complementary uses
“Miliv was designed to offer a simple tool, digital and accessible which streamlines exchanges and restores readability to the entire transport ecosystem”, explains Nicolas Narayanin-Ramaye, founder of Miliv. Today in fact, the connection between customers and carriers is based on unstructured practices : limited visibility on availability, fragmented exchanges, underexploited transport opportunities, administrative management still largely based on paper, often incomplete monitoring. These difficulties concern both professionals in their daily activity and individuals., faced with a one-off need for transportation. Miliv, on the contrary, Miliv is based on a deliberately simple model. It is a mobile application intended for transport professionals, available on iOS and Android online stores, designed as a daily work tool to manage operations, documents and transport tracking. It is also a website open to businesses and individuals, allowing you to formulate freight requests and request membership to the Miliv platform.
The advantages of the system
The Miliv application is what we call a TMS : transportation management system (transportation management system). The system connects individuals, professionals and carriers in a simple and transparent way. It digitalizes transport-related exchanges (delivery notes, waybills, monitoring of operations). It gives freedom to carriers, who remain masters of the missions they accept according to their rates and availability. Developed in Reunion by a team from the field, the platform ultimately aims not only to support the activity of local transporters and to promote the creation of economic opportunities, but also to optimize journeys and contribute to reducing the carbon footprint linked to transport.
