Waterfront project in Victoria
In preparation for several years, the waterfront development project in Victoria, the Seychelles capital, is in the implementation phase. Air service is expanding
Condor Airlines resumed its seasonal flights between Frankfurt and the Seychelles at the beginning of October, Edelweiss Air did the same from Zurich. Turkish Airlines set to increase frequencies between Istanbul and Seychelles, just like Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa and Aeroflot from Moscow. Emirates serves Victoria twice a day. Besides Air Seychelles, Air Austral, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Kenya Airways also land on Mahé. Tourism Seychelles welcomes the intensification of air service to the country, which accompanies the progression of its tourist attendance. During the first eight months of the year, Seychelles welcomed 229,000 visitors, number increasing by 5,7% compared to 2022.
