Two Reunionese companies were selected to be supported by State services as part of the Etincelle program, which aims to strengthen the fabric of intermediate size companies in France : Agronova Frais Import and Fibers Industry Wood.
Agronova Frais Import is a family company created in 1995 by William Giraud. It is today a leader as a wholesaler-distributor of food products for cafes., hotels and restaurants. In 2021, it acquired a new logistics platform in Pierrefonds.. Fibers Industrie Bois, for its part, comes from a cooperative union formed in 1989 by Reunionese wood craftsmen, keen to improve the quality of their supply. It has experienced steady development and has gradually expanded its activities, in particular to the transformation of wooden panels on its Cambaie site. The ETIncelles program aims to streamline relations between business leaders and public organizations, “by creating the conditions for better visibility and better understanding of the service offering available to them”. It aims to support 500 growing SMEs by 2027. Companies wishing to benefit from tailor-made support for their development are invited to apply via a new call for expressions of interest, open until March 15, 2025, on the website www.demarches-simplifiees.fr.
