The University of Reunion stands out for its level of internationalization : 1056 students of 68 nationalities were registered there for the 2022-2023 academic year, and she was already counting, mi-september, 784 new registrants from 56 nationalities. The establishment has obtained the renewal of its Bienvenue en France label, with a second star, which rewards an immediate quality welcome offered to foreign students. Very attractive to German students, Belgian and Swiss, the university is also popular with Canadian and American students and those from the Indo-Pacific region (Inde, Thailand, South Korea, Fiji). This year it is opening five new mobility programs with Africa : two with Madagascar, two with Rwanda and one with Burkina Faso.
