Development agencies in the region are getting closer
On the occasion of the summit of heads of state of the Indian Ocean Commission, On April 24 in Antananarivo, A cooperation charter has been signed between economic and investment agencies in the Indian Ocean area. This common commitment had been initiated at the end of 2024. The areas of collaboration revolve around two priorities : regional food sovereignty and optimization of local value chains. The signatories, including La Réunion Development, agreed on the launch of concrete actions this year, aimed at reducing dependence on imports and promoting the economic know-how of their territories. A working session will be organized monthly to monitor the implementation of collaborative projects.
