The range is enriched with six new models in size S (36 mm), specially developed for small wrists. ICE solar power was born out of a double evolution. First, its exclusive system signed Miyota : the watch is recharged via solar collectors of a rather new configuration. Miniature solar panels, usually located on the dial, are replaced by ultra-thin semi-circular sensors integrated in the inner ring. She takes advantage of this new breakthrough from Japanese giant Miyota, pioneer of solar technologies.
As for the movement, it is a classic quartz. The mechanism is recharged with solar energy or any source of light, natural or artificial, intense or subdued. Then his weight : 30 grammes. An almost aerial lightness thanks to the absence of a metallic background (initially intended to change the battery) and a one-piece cast ABS housing, lighter and less dense material than polyamide.
