The turnover of Reunion VSEs and SMEs monitored by the Order of Chartered Accountants and the Sagis Institute increased by 3,9% in the 2nd quarter of 2023 compared to the same period of 2022. Adjusted for inflation, the progression is of the order of 2%, while a decline of 0,4% is estimated at the national level. A particularly marked slowdown is, however, observed in certain service activities.. Real estate activities suffer a drop of 4,9% of their turnover during the quarter and 1,5% since the start of the year. Business service activities (administrative and support services) for their part, see their turnover fall by 2,9% over the quarter and 5,3% since the start of the year. “We can see the prudence of purchases by Reunion companies continuing over this period”, comments on the study.
