The annual increase is 3% on the prices of services (1,8% in France), 1% on manufactured products (1,2% in France) and 22,1% on energy (18,5% in France). The strongest increase is recorded in petroleum products : 31,3%. The rise in tobacco prices is also significant in Reunion (7,3%), while stability is observed at the national level. The rise in food prices is much more moderate : 1,2% on the island, against 1,4% in France. At least December, they even went down by 0,8%, driven by the decline in prices of fresh produce (-11,2%), especially those of fruits, in full production season.
