Eighteen months after the opening of generative AI to the general public, an observation is necessary : what seemed a rare skill a year ago is now a commodity accessible to all. For the Cube School, training organization specializing in AI, No-Code et Growth Marketing, the real value has already shifted to data structuring, process automation, visibility in AI engines, or even business integration.
The signals are multiplying : whether in business or in the personal sphere, the use of AI is exploding. Pour Indeed Hiring Lab (avril 2026), job offers mentioning AI are increasing in all countries. And according to INSEE, 10% of French companies with 10 or more employees declared using at least one artificial intelligence technology in 2024, compared to 6% a year earlier.
But behind this massive adoption, the Cube School observes a paradox : the generalization of use creates the illusion of generalized mastery. “Today everyone knows how to use ChatGPT to write an email or summarize a document. But between that and designing a system capable of truly transforming a business operation, there is a gap that continues to widen”, confides Pierre Launay, co-founder of the Cube School. Based on field observations and analysis of market dynamics (sources Gartner Hype Cycle AI, LinkedIn Jobs, HubSpot State of AI, Google Trends), Cube School identifies three distinct zones.
Saturated zone
Content generation. Write a post, summarize a document, generate an image or visual : these uses, which were distinctive skills just a year ago, are now accessible to all. The differentiating value has almost evaporated.
Current Opportunity Zone
Automation and integration. This is where the fastest productivity gains are being created today. : deployment of AI agents, business process automation, design of user experiences augmented by AI, governance, and also compliance. The market is mature, strong business demand, the supply of trained profiles still insufficient.
Strategic Opportunity Zone
What will happen tomorrow. Four areas emerge : visibility in generative engines (GEO/AEO), i.e. the ability of brands to appear in the responses produced by conversational AI ; structuring data so that it is correctly interpreted by LLMs (Large Language Models) ; designing AI-native products ; and sectoral verticalization (health, finance, industry). These skills are still little mastered and this is precisely what makes them, at 18-24 months, the most differentiating positions on the market.
New recruitment needs
This new geography of value has a direct consequence on the labor market.
Companies are no longer looking for profiles who know how to use AI but for profiles capable of designing and deploying operational systems.. Besides, Malt's new study supports this : today, the demand concerns more technical aspects of AI. for example, that concerning AI agents sees an increase in 5 801 % against 2 420 % for that of the offer (freelancers capable of answering them).
The Cube School
It is in this zone of opportunities that the Cube School has established its trajectory. : Product Builder No-Code, automation, agents IA, structuration data, business integration. More than 3,000 learners have already been trained there and according to the follow-up surveys carried out by the School among its learners, 92 % of them find a job or activity within six months. By 2027, the school plans to train nearly 10,000 people on these skills.
