This is the percentage increase in the value of Reunion exports in 2022, according to the annual report of Iédom. This jump is mainly due to that of exports of fishing products (+39 %), especially toothfish. Imports show an increase of 20% in value in 2022, partly linked to rising energy prices (+81% recorded on imported amounts). If trade has increased in value over the past year, under the effect of the sharp rise in prices of goods and raw materials, however, they remained stable in volume for imports and fell slightly for exports, specifies Iédom.
