The permanent commission of the Réunion Region voted on June 21 to sign an agreement between the community and the public investment bank Bpifrance, for the implementation of the new “relaunch loan in Reunion” system.
This partnership will allow the creation of a fund of 14 million euros, co-financed to the tune of 4 million euros by the Region, in order to set up a participatory loan formula supported by Bpifrance. The objective is to allow VSEs and SMEs in Reunion to finance their cash flow or their investments by accessing risk-sharing loans with the banking network and at preferential rates. The “relaunch loan” is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses over three years old., eligible for the Bpifrance guarantee, financially healthy and most of whose activity is in Reunion. This is an unsecured loan which benefits from a preferential fixed rate and whose duration is fixed at five years or seven years with a capital amortization deferral of one year or two years respectively..
