Five tools : Seize, PROREFEI, MDE-EDF, Assure and Pro-SME. On the initiative of ADIR, these five programs were presented during an information morning in front of an audience of industrialists on May 10. At stake, substantial energy savings, to which several beneficiary companies can attest.
SEIZE : AWARENESS OF ENERGY SAVINGS
Specific to the French Overseas Territories and Corsica, this program is implemented locally by the consulting company ISODOM. To promote, in particular, eco-friendly actions in businesses, awareness workshops first take stock of the participants' knowledge on energy issues, notably in the form of a quiz. The public on May 10 took part in the game, giving, it must be recognized, as many correct answers as possible. Thus we learned that in terms of greenhouse gas emissions, sending an email to ten recipients corresponds to 500 meters traveled by car. A two-kilo computer requires 600 kg of raw materials. An email stored for a year is equivalent to emitting 10 g of CO2 into the atmosphere... The Seize program is 100% funded as part of the energy saving certificate system (CEE), certified by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and supported by Ademe.

PROREFEI : TRAINING ENERGY REFERENTS
To train energy referents in industries, the PROREFEI program can cover up to the educational costs of three employees per company. The training is provided in Reunion by the company ISODOM. Three steps : MOOC-type online training with final questionnaire to measure basic knowledge (70% correct answers required) ; followed by a face-to-face internship, then individual support in a work situation by a trainer to implement an energy saving project. Several local actors (ICP Roto, Grand Maritime Port of Reunion, Rivière du Mât Distillery, Cyclea) have benefited from this program to train energy representatives. Several expressed the interest of the measure for implementing energy saving strategies : the director of the Rivière du Mât distillery, Teddy Boyer, and the company’s energy referent, Fabien Laravine. ASSURE : SUPPORT IN ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Carried by ADIR, ASSURE is a Reunion system supporting manufacturers in the implementation of an energy management system. The program finances the provision of a specialized design office up to 50%. Local label reflecting the approach, ASSURE brings companies up to the requirements of the international standard ISO 50 001 for energy management. The various benefits for the company are evaluated in terms of reduction of the energy bill, organization and management, competitiveness and image, but also as a collective project building consensus. Here again, implementation examples demonstrate the relevance of the program : at Fibers, Rivière du Mât Distillery, Logistics, Reunite, Teralta… Around twenty local industrial companies are involved in this program..

EDF IN REUNION : ENERGY CONTROL
(25% electricity savings)
EDF has solutions to offer to support the energy transition. Thus the Territorial Compensation Framework of Reunion Island is a regulatory framework managed by an MDE committee composed of the DEAL, Ademe, the Réunion Region and EDF. Aid is granted to help companies invest in insulation work on buildings and the purchase of energy-saving equipment.. Offers are standard (fixed premiums according to a scale) or custom (when specific needs must be taken into account). Thermal comfort, cold production, heat recovery, efficient engine, are all actions financially supported by these energy saving bonuses. EDF also offers load-shedding agreements to manufacturers with generators in order to lighten the network if necessary.. The industrialist agreeing to temporarily withdraw from the network at the request of EDF, receives substantial financial compensation in exchange.

PRO-SMEn : THE PREMIUM TO ISO 50 001
ISO 50,001 certified companies are entitled to a bonus of up to 40,000 euros, within the limit of 20% of the energy expenditure of the certified site. This program is supported by the association promoting energy management ATEE, very active at the national level, and in Reunion, to promote energy savings. Attention : with the current program ending in October 2022, Companies wishing to benefit from it must send their request as quickly as possible to the ATEE.
