The studio is co-producer of Arte’s new video game.
The Blue Ramen studio took part in the adventure of The Merlies as co-producer. His teams worked alongside Darjeeling on the design and development of the game, bringing together the know-how and talents of two territories.
This experience is part of the studio’s objective : develop a production and co-production activity, and thus increase collaborations with recognized players in the video game industry. “For us, this co-production is an important step. It shows that it is possible to take part, from Reunion, to ambitious productions. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for our teams to put their brilliance to work on a project that will be discovered by an international audience”, underlines Loïc Manglou, president of Blue Ramen.
A game without violence
The game immerses the player in a world where human civilization has disappeared and nature has reclaimed its rights.. A huge storm scattered the Merlies, a community of fragile but inventive little birds. To survive, they must find each other, learn to cooperate to build a haven of peace from the remains left by a mysterious disappeared civilization. Human waste becomes Merlie treasure. Also developed by the production company Darjeeling and published by Arte France, this video game was released on September 29, 2026 on PC, Mac et Nintendo Switch.
