With over sixty years of expertise and research, JBL develops recipes that cover all the specific needs of each species.
Observations in the natural environment during JBL expeditions made it possible to rework the recipes of JBL ProNovo ornamental fish food into :
•adapting and optimizing protein sources (insects)
•integrating garlic/shrimp as palatability factors
•optimizing the protein/fat ratio (prevents the accumulation of fat mass)
•guaranteeing clean water and healthy fish (prebiotic properties)
Optimized nutritional quality
JBL launches new food varieties, which differ from previous Novo food in essential respects. No artificial coloring is added. Instead of a probiotic mode of action, this one being controversial, all JBL ProNovo foods have a prebiotic action and, for this reason, were found to be easier to digest. Prebiotics guarantee better digestion, less waste, preventing the development of algae. Insects are incorporated into many varieties of food. The formulas have been adapted based on current research results and optimized in terms of protein and fat content.
An eco-thoughtful and technical range
In the interest of protecting the environment, all small 60 ml boxes have been excluded and product packaging has been standardized to environmental standards, label included. From now on, the packaging has a raw material that is easily and perfectly recyclable. Using modified shrink wrapping film, 30% savings on plastic. New technical features are added to packaging thanks to lids : they are offered in click or with measuring lids. In addition to the dosage recommendations mentioned on the label, they allow the right amount of food to be allocated to the fish.
At the store, the modifications made to the packaging provide a homogeneous radius with a uniform appearance for the products.
