Organized on March 19, this giant job dating took place simultaneously in three hypermarkets: The Portal in Saint-Leu, La Réserve in Sainte-Marie and Les Barracks in Saint Pierre.
More than a thousand candidates who came. Supervised by around thirty internal employees, managers and HR managers, each candidate was able to complete a live interview, take advantage of a behind-the-scenes visit to the hypermarket to discover the jobs in mass distribution and chat with colleagues. The candidates appreciated this format of exchange and sharing in direct contact with the field. They were able to submit their CVs after interview, despite a queue sometimes half an hour long.... At the store, the brand is in fact looking for candidates for catering professions (boucher, boulanger, pastry chef, caterer, etc), coaching (Department manager, Head of Department) and student contracts (cash register and shelf). To support the development of the brand, E. Leclerc is also recruiting in support functions (human ressources, accounting, management control, communication) and logistics professions (upstream logistics, logistics processes and methods). Sabrina Rivière and Agnès Robert, HR, were mobilized. “It was a great meeting. People really appreciated being able to present themselves and defend their candidacy so easily” explains Sabrina Rivière. “We didn’t expect to have such success.. The candidates really want to work with us and that motivates us even more to support them well” concludes Agnès Robert.
