The University of Réunion has just launched two university diplomas dedicated to entrepreneurship, including one specially dedicated to students who have acquired the national status of student-entrepreneur. March 26, 16 students received this status from the hands of the president of the establishment. The beneficiaries will be supported by the Student Center for Innovation, transfer and entrepreneurship (Pepper) of the University to carry out their project. Student-entrepreneur status gives access to dual tutoring (a teaching tutor and a business tutor), to entrepreneurial university training, a coworking space and exchange spaces with players in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and innovation competitions and challenges. The Introduction to Entrepreneurship DU is aimed at students wishing to learn about business creation and takeover.. Students who already have a well-defined business creation or resumption project are more likely to choose the Entrepreneurship DU. Within these two formations, teaching is carried out by academics and professionals, over a period of one year in evening classes, three times per week.
