Cyclevia, the eco-organization of the oils and lubricants sector, organizes an exceptional operation from March 2 to 16 to collect and evacuate the oils stored by the inhabitants of Mafate.
Carried out in partnership with Ademe, the National Park, the National Forestry Office and Suez, this initiative aims to eliminate a stock estimated between 2 and 3 tonnes of used oils as well as their soiled packaging. Waste oils, from generators and small motor equipment, are waste hazardous to health and harmful to the environment and the absence of any sorting possibility in the circus for years has favored their accumulation.
