Bought by the Vinicole Center Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, two years ago, the new identity of Abelé 1757 will be present in Reunion from September in the Caves Les Vendanges with four references, Brut, Rosé, Smile of Reims brut in bottle and magnum.
For more than two and a half centuries, Abelé 1757 has remained a family home (because it is always on a human scale). The fifth oldest Champagne House. From the Côte des Blancs to the Montagne de Reims or the popular Coteaux des Riceys, the House has a multitude of plots and vintages. For a very high quality supply, she has forged close links with a restricted circle of winegrowers practicing viticulture respectful of Nature on plots sometimes as large as gardens. It is with this identity that four champagne wines from Maison Abelé 1757 can be discovered starting this month in the Caves Les Vendanges. Composed of three grape varieties (40 % Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, 25 % Meunier, including 15% reserve wines), Abelé 1757 Brut is the signature vintage of the House. Blend of three grape varieties and Champagne red wine, Abelé 1757 Brut Rosé is the charming note of the House. Maturation on lees and aging for three years for these two Champagne wines For lovers of great Champagne wines, Sourire de Reims Millésime 2019 is the emblematic vintage of the House, expression of a complex and gourmet champagne (60 % Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir). Made exclusively from Pinot Noir from Coteaux des Riceys, Sourire de Reims Rosé is a unique and singular vintage, made into rosé de saignée. Maturation on lees and aging for 10 years for these last two wines.
