Revision of the regional development plan, led by the Region, continues. September 14, the citizens' convention formed for this purpose has concluded its work.
It is made up of 72 people, representative of the diversity of the island and drawn at random by an independent organization. For four months, they worked on different subjects : the way of living on their island, their city and neighborhood ; the connection between different living spaces (workplaces, leisure and housing)the conditions for sustainable development for the territory… Their final report contains 41 proposals, about the city, nature and way of living, l’agriculture, energy and waste, water, territorial organization, mobility and governance. The work to revise the regional development plan must end in 2025.
