1st Week of Transitions and Impact

From April 20 to 24, 2026, the Green Réunion association and the UN Global Compact organized, in partnership with Ademe and BFC Indian Ocean, the first edition of the event. Five days of meetings, workshops and field visits to mobilize the Reunion region around transitions. In the presence of Diana Canal in particular, project manager of the France network of the UN Global Compact.

Expertise, feedback, concrete tools, thematic stands and presentation of the Efficience label punctuated, April 23, at IAE Réunion, CSR and Transitions Day, highlight of the week.

“Solutions exist in our territory and deserve to be highlighted. » It is with this conviction that economic actors mobilized, public institutions and engaged citizens “in order to promote Reunion know-how and collectively build a more resilient and sustainable territory”. The program was rolled out in two stages : Indian Ocean CSR Meetings, supported by the Global Compact on April 20 and 21 ; followed from April 22 to 24 by the Green Meeting days which, between round tables, workshops and stands linked strategic thinking to concrete cases and action tools promoting ecological transition. Distributed between the Village by CA, the Port ecopark, IAE Meeting and punctuated by field visits, these days were aimed at a varied audience : economic actors (start-up, managers of VSEs and SMEs, large groups) ; Public actors (communities, institutions, state services) ; the students ; associations ; ESS actors ; the general public...

An overview of possible actions

Between ecological transitions, energy, digital, social, food and industrial, the mutations at work are multiple and interdependent. The event addressed each transition through feedback and solutions applicable across the territory.. Two main axes structured his program : on the one hand the circular economy and sustainable models or how to reduce dependence on imports, better promote local resources and encourage more economical models ; on the other hand, CSR being considered as a structuring lever, competitiveness, attractiveness and impact for Reunion organizations. In addition, meetings with local stakeholders involved in this path highlighted start-ups and more generally initiatives which are now deploying solutions adapted to the realities of Reunion.

Green Meeting : the pei CSR label

Created in 2011, the “Regional grouping of companies committed to the environment” brings together responsible companies and stakeholders around CSR and ecological transition in Reunion. The association brings together more than 100 structures. Green Réunion is at the origin of the CSR label of Réunion, to the framework designed in particular with Ademe, ACT (the skills operator of professional service branches), and local experts. Based on ISO 26000, the péi CSR label includes 5 pillars and 25 criteria.
