The General Confederation of Scop and Scic welcomes “very good news” for the transfer of businesses to employees.
The CG Scop applauds the Prime Minister’s announcements relating to the establishment of a “Papin Pact”, named after the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, to facilitate the transfer of businesses to their employees. They validate a long-standing plea made by the organization to make it a full-fledged solution., in the same way as family transmission or to a third party. CG Scop recalls that business transfer is a major issue : in a context of aging of the population of leaders, between 250,000 and 500,000 of them would be sold over the next decade. “It’s about jobs and activity in the territories”, tell Fatima Bellaredj, general delegate of CG Scop. But “even today, les salariés qui souhaitent reprendre leur société ne bénéficient pas d’un cadre aussi favorable que celui dont bénéficient les transmissions familiales, notably through the Dutreil Pact. However, the results are there : those transmitted to their employees in cooperative form display a 5-year sustainability rate of 90%”,
Relevant incentives
These announcements concretize the proposals of the economic actors gathered within the Recovery mission, managed by the General Directorate of Enterprises. La CG Scop apprécie notamment le doublement de l’avantage fiscal accordé au cédant partant à la retraite lorsqu’il transmet son entreprise à ses salariés – une mesure qu’elle avait elle-même proposée dans le cadre de cette mission. Another interesting incentive : the spread of tax for the transferor in the event of a seller credit constitutes. Finally, le suramortissement des nouveaux équipements de production en cas de reprise pourrait se révéler particulièrement pertinent pour les reprises industrielles. “We are pleased that transmission to employees is now on the political agenda, and we hope that these projects will see the light of day”, says Cyril Zorman, president of the General Confederation of Scop and Scic.
