DMP's handling department faces growing demand for baling presses, equipment for compacting cardboard and plastic waste in businesses.
“We have been distributing this type of machine for many years, but faced with the acceleration of needs and the structuring of reprocessing and export sectors, we decided to hire a new salesperson. Specially in charge of this type of material, Nicolas Rault supports companies in their choice” explains Yann Lardé, Director of Activities at DMP. The volume of cardboard and plastic waste often poses a problem in industry and commerce. Hence the interest in being able to reduce this volume to facilitate their storage in skips and their collection.. This is the function of the baler, equipment for compacting boxes, plastics and PET, designed for businesses. “By reducing the volume of this type of waste, compaction limits clutter in bins and skips” describes Nicolas Rault who, citing the example of cardboard, explains all the advantages of the baler. “For a bin of cardboard boxes for example, compaction reduces the initial volume by 95%. A real space saver, but also dumpster rotations, fewer round trips by trucks, therefore less CO2…” DMP distributes manual and hydraulic presses producing bales of 50 kg up to 550 kg and models compacting metal drums. It also offers a complete service to businesses, from the removal of bales to their recovery, the maintenance of the machines being ensured by PMI.
