François Doucet Confectioner opens up to specialized networks with Les Ateliers Doucet

Reference house in chocolate confectionery and leader in the French fruit paste market, François Doucet Confectioner gives birth to a new brand : The Doucet Workshops.

 

Distributed in specialized sales channels, this brand new and all-natural brand will carry the Doucet signature in organic stores, garden centers and decoration brands. It is a name synonymous with know-how and Provençal heritage that the François Doucet Confisseur team wishes to perpetuate through this new adventure.. The Doucet Workshops come from the two know-how which made the success of François Doucet Confisseur and established it as a reference house in confectionery : fruit paste and chocolate. Located in Oraison in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, the two workshops face each other. To the left, an imposing cocoa-colored building where expert hands melt chocolate to coat other selected natural ingredients and create tasty recipes. To the right, it’s the fruit jellies factory where a different scent perfumes each room, apricot, pear, orange, raspberry… State-of-the-art machines cook the fruit there, grind it or even sweeten it, under the experienced eye of the women and men who handle them. These workshops embody the successful marriage between modernity and tradition, by combining the precision and performance of machines with human gesture, artisanal, transmitted from generation to generation within the confectionery and guarantor of the flawless excellence of each product thus crafted. At the heart of this dual know-how : the enhancement of flavors without artifice and the search for the perfect balance between sweet and intense, delicious and healthy, colorful and natural.

A modern identity
Recipes handwritten on the boxes and signed by François Doucet, intimate and elegant design : Ateliers Doucet are betting on modernity through their graphic universe, but not only. The brand will offer a selection of 26 products as varied as they are original, from an R&D efficient and with a constantly renewed desire to shake up the codes. With chocolate-coated dried fruits, pralines or fruit pastes with complex and natural flavors, Les Ateliers Doucet re-explore the taste paths opened by François Doucet Confectioner by adapting them to specialized sales channels. The objective ? Making the Maison’s know-how accessible to all via a vast distribution network. Note that organic is also in the spotlight in the catalog, with no less than seven references from organic farming (fruit jellies and chocolates).
