Addressing all private and public actors, Cyberesponse is a label crowning the implementation of a repository, developed by the Reunion cybersecurity company Youtell based on the recommendations of the French and European IT security agencies. This innovation on a French and European scale was presented by Youtell, end of March, at the Lille InCyber Forum, main European cybersecurity meeting.
The Cyberesponse label is further proof of the level of excellence available to Réunion in terms of cybersecurity expertise.. But it also reflects an educational as well as a commercial approach to cybersecurity.. Prevention against cybercrime is in the general interest ; protect yourself, it’s also about protecting others : this is also the message of this label. To understand, you should know that it did not exist, until this Youtell initiative, general IT security label accessible to the greatest number of organizations. Anyone wishing to have certification in this field had no choice but to aim for the increasingly complex heights of the ISO 27000 standards., dedicated to the management of information systems security, designed for large structures. Nothing below to encourage commitment and progress in a data protection process. The two major French labels — ExpertCyber, which gives access to the rigorous approval of the national information systems security agency (TRAP), and France Cybersecurity — aimed exclusively at companies in the cybersecurity sector (Youtell, which notably employs former military personnel specializing in cyber warfare, is ExpertCyber certified). Cyberesponse is the first general digital security label allowing a company, a public establishment, a community, an administration, whatever its size, to promote its actions in terms of cybersecurity to its partners, of its suppliers, of its customers, of your cyber insurance, etc.

A repository accessible to as many people as possible
The Reunion company Youtell is the first to offer such a product on the French and even European market.. “Cyberresponse brings together, articulates and synthesizes all our skills in both aspects of cybersecurity : technology with system protection and data backup solutions, and governance, the organization and good practices to put in place, all controlled by an audit. We make them accessible to everyone”, explains Jean-Benoît Poncet, founder of Youtell in 2016. Based on ANSSI recommendations, from l'ENISA, of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity and the CNIL, the Cyberesponse label repository can be downloaded from the website www.cyberesponse.eu at the low price of €140 ! It is even possible to download an extract for free to see what the document is made of.. Cyberesponse provides “an answer to business leaders who are aware of the dangers posed by cybermalvolence, but who feel overwhelmed by the heaviness of responsibility and the complexity of the decisions to be made.”. “They don’t know where to start, lack a roadmap defining objectives, means, application and control procedures proving that things are in place and working. We give it to them”, testifies Jean-Benoît Poncet.
Three levels of labeling
The cybersecurity needs of a small business are not the same as those of a large business, the Cyberesponse label is available in three levels of labeling. First level : Engaged ; the basic foundation of cybersecurity, securing terminals, password management, identifiers and access to the system. « Le minimum vital », for Yohan Saleil, information systems security manager (RSSI) at Youtell, which recalls that “more than 70% of the entry points of a cyber attack have a human cause, error or inattention”. Second level : Qualified ; intermediate level where initial knowledge is reinforced by the monitoring and management of critical data, identification of relationships with third parties and risk assessment. Third level, the highest : Certified ; this degree applies all ANSSI recommendations, that is to say, the establishment of an information system security policy (PSSI) or the creation of an incident management and crisis management plan are studied according to needs. The Certified level provides access to ISO 27000 standardization and prepares for the implementation of the NIS 2 directive, adopted in December 2022, which will harmonize cybersecurity practices in the EU.

A guarantee and an asset
Being able to demonstrate, by a label, its commitment to cybersecurity is now an asset, a guarantee of credibility to differentiate yourself on the market. Furthermore, the approach radiates around it : subcontractors of a company aiming for the label are concerned ; from Qualified level, they must adopt practices that will protect themselves. Youtell highlights the crucial importance of governance in addition to protection hardware and software, with in particular the training of staff and, in the largest structures, of an SSI manager. It’s about acquiring “a culture of cybersecurity” at all times., involving all services at all levels over time. By bringing the company into compliance with the Cyberesponse standard, Youtell provides him with the highest possible degree of serenity and confidence in the face of a multifaceted threat that can strike at any time..
