Katy Hoarau, president of Medef Réunion, and Jean-François Hoarau, president of the University of Réunion, signed a partnership on August 19 aimed at strengthening links between the University and Reunion Island businesses.
“This cooperation should make it possible to bring training closer to the economic realities of the territory ; to increase meetings between students and businesses ; to facilitate internships, the alternation, professional integration and entrepreneurship ; and finally to further mobilize research, innovation and university skills at the service of the territory”, specifies the employers’ union.
