To encourage VSE-SME, associations and communities to emerge from passivity in the face of the cyber threat, ANSSI has designed a system, deployed nationally, allowing them to benefit from a free vulnerability diagnosis of their computer system. Diagnosis leading to priority corrective measures to be implemented. Reunion digital and cybersecurity professionals are mobilized to play the role of “helpers” for lay people.

A diagnostic methodology to apply, a charter of commitments to respect : responding to the call from ANSSI relayed locally by Réunion THD, 70 cybersecurity and digital professionals participated in the first MonAideCyber caregiver training, on May 2 in the auditorium of the Mémona-Hintermann-Afféjee high school in Saint-Denis. The official launch in Réunion of MonAideCyber is planned for September or October. It will be the subject of a communication campaign in order to convey ANSSI’s message to businesses., associations, communities : “Take action to strengthen your cybersecurity thanks to our community of cyber caregivers present throughout the country ! » If the deployment of the system takes place in a few months, it is possible to register now to benefit from a free diagnosis. MonAideCyber being locally in the experimental phase, diagnostic requests are welcome to break in the device. Diagnostic objectives : “Highlight the gaps, identify priority measures, direct you towards other existing free systems, Prioritize scenarios related to automated ransomware attacks. »
A “proactive service” from Réunion THD
The Réunion THD public establishment has been entrusted by the Region with a cybersecurity mission aimed at promoting it as widely as possible among as many organizations as possible., private and public, basic protection measures and good practices. Réunion THD is creating a resource center that will combine “reactive services in the event of an attack with proactive services, i.e. prevention against attacks. MonAideCyber is one of these proactive services”, explains Mathieu Druilhe, deputy director of Réunion THD, in charge of cybersecurity. “MonAideCyber is aimed at public and private entities, whatever their size, with a low level of cybersecurity, to help them take action. The objective, it is to allow entities to put their foot down to help them gain cyber maturity. » The free diagnosis lasting one and a half hours, the six measures to put in place as a priority, a waypoint : this is the outline of cyber aid. On their side, helping professionals sign a charter of good practices in order to avoid conflicts of interest. Cybersecurity companies, especially, undertake not to offer their commercial services, “unless this is requested by the assisted entity on its own initiative and outside the framework of the MonAideCyber approach”.
