Octomore, real icon in the world of whiskey since 2008, redefines codes in category year after year.

Signs of Scottish distillery Bruicladdich, the single malts octomore are the most peat in the world. They are aged for five years and bottled at a concentration close to that of the barrel. This is why Octomore is often defined as an “impossible equation”. With its new 15.1 editions, 15.2 et 15.3, Octomore continues its quest for innovation and perfection. Octomore 15.1 is the pillar of this new series and serves as a reference point for the two other expressions that compose it. This single malt, peated at 108,2 PPM, was distilled in 2018 from 100% Scottish barley (Variety Concerto) harvested in 2017. This single malt has been aged in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and re-toasted ex-Bourbon casks.. The result is a raw single malt, with refined strength of character, balancing notes of creamy, vanilla custard and sweet, toasty oak with heady peat smoke.

October 15.2 and 15.3

The second opus in this series was initially aged in a combination of wine barrels and second-fill Bourbon barrels., then was transferred in 2023 to first-fill ex-Cognac barrels for the end of its aging. As for the last expression of the series, peated at 307,2 PPM, it is the second most peaty reference in the history of Octomore. Distilled from 100% Islay barley from Octomore Farm, this single malt benefits from complete maturation in ex-Bourbon casks and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks from Spain.
