After a successful 2021 edition, Gourmet Sélection confirms its return on September 25 and 26 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles
Objective of Gourmet Selection 2022 ? A real rise in power to welcome producers, food artisans, gastronomy professionals and distributors of fine products in an environment that is both friendly and premium, conducive to exchanges, to discoveries and business. Reflection of creativity, innovation and know-how, this place of exchange is an opportunity to strengthen links between distributors and producers of fine products. The show’s events and competitions are, as far as they are concerned, a showcase of innovation and dynamism in the sector. “L’Agora des Experts” will once again be the venue for conferences, round tables and speeches to stock up on market knowledge. “From Grocery to Plate” will offer a presentation of the products exhibited by renowned chefs through an original format different from previous editions which will be revealed soon. And through its competitions, Gourmet Selection brings additional influence to the best delicatessen products and concepts : “The Best Of” competition for the best products exhibited at the show, “Les Quintessences” competition for the best delicatessen… A real barometer of delicatessen trends.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, with the support of the Caisse Nationale du Crédit agricole, organizes the regional Agroecology Trophies competition 2022-2023. This competition rewards the action of farmers in favor of exemplary agriculture with regard to triple performance : economic, environmental and social. Three categories are rewarded. The Grand Prix for the collective approach, the objective of which is to highlight the collective action of farmers carrying out ambitious projects contributing to the agro-ecological transition. The Innovation Prize which rewards the individual approach of a particularly innovative operator in the implementation of agro-ecological practices. The Agricultural Education Prize which recognizes a class that has built an action plan towards agroecology. Deadlines for submitting applications in Reunion : Grand prize for collective approach and Innovation Prize, June 30, 2022 ; Price of Agricultural Education, December 15, 2022. The designation of regional winners is planned no later than December 15, 2022.. Prize giving for the national competition from February 2023.
