March 20 and 21, the group highlighted more than 100 job offers to be filled in Reunion Island in all of the group's professions at the NORDEV exhibition center : large and medium distribution, distribution automobile. And also in the support functions : computer science, accounting, human ressources, number professions.
As always, GBH's HR teams were mobilized to discuss with candidates, present to them the prospects for development and collect the files. If the main purpose of the show is indeed recruitment, this participation also provides GBH with an opportunity to reiterate its commitment to the training of young people and the skills development of its employees.. Involved in several training courses in Reunion, the group is a partner of the Marguerite-Jauzelon high school, of the IAE, of the EGC and it was in Reunion that he launched his Springboard for Employment program, intended to give a second chance to young people without training. This system is a work-study training course leading to a certificate opening access to permanent employment in GBH subsidiaries.. More than 150 young people were trained in this way for careers in mass distribution and automobiles in Reunion Island., in Martinique, in Guadeloupe, and in Guyana. Another work-study program set up by GBH : DistriSup training. In 2021, GBH and IAE Réunion launched for the first time in Reunion the professional Commerce and Distribution license of the DistriSup Network to meet the growing management needs in large-scale distribution. Since, 153 employees were trained in the Antilles Guyana zones, Reunion and Mayotte, with an overall graduation rate of 90%. “We are constantly looking for talent in the region”, recalled Michel Lapeyre, director GBH Africa-Indian Ocean.
