Under the high patronage of the regional prefect and the rector of the academy, The vocational high school and the meeting club "companies are committed" organized on April 16 a ceremony for labeling "companies in the service of integration and inclusion in vocational high school".

The Albert-Ramassamy Energy Transition High School, in Saint-Denis, hosted a unique event on April 16 in Reunion Island. The sub-prefect for social cohesion and youth of Réunion, Frédéric Sautron, and the rector of the academic region, Rostane Mehdi, chaired the award ceremony for the “Companies serving integration and inclusion in vocational high schools” labels. This National Education label distinguishes companies for their remarkable commitment to the integration of young people. This label aims to strengthen the links between the establishment and businesses and to promote actions in favor of the professional integration of high school students., in correlation with the development of the island. Through this action, Reunion companies are investing for a more inclusive and sustainable territory. The event continued with a visit to the technical platforms of the establishment (construction workshops, energy, tertiary), organized by high school students, who presented their achievements and masterpieces. A charter of commitments
Companies commit to various actions linked to the three axes of the charter. To raise awareness : welcome middle and high school students as part of observation sequences, company visits, share with them testimonials from business leaders, promote the actions carried out by vocational high schools, subsidize the associative world involved in the three pillars. Former : strengthen and professionalize the training of high school students within the framework of training periods in a professional environment, strengthen work-study arrangements, amplify mentoring actions, contribute to the integration of young people through entrepreneurship by relying on innovation ecosystems and partnerships, rely on vocational high schools and their technical platforms for the continuing training of employees, support establishments financially by mobilizing levers such as the apprenticeship tax. Recruit : strengthen communication on job dating, encourage innovative recruitment (recruitment by “appeals”, “From internship to employment” day), promote the recruitment of young people with disabilities, rely on digital job search and internship tools (specific sites and platforms), implement the principles of the Diversity Charter *, of the Citizen and Responsible Recruiter Charter ** and, wider, all good practices in the context of inter-company exchanges.
